I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. I must say He offered us a discount after justifying all of the reasons we were upset rather than just apologizing but it does not make up for the experience in my opinion. Truly a 0/5 experience but google says 1 star is the lowest I can give. Our server was very quick every time he stopped by the table leaving some of us at the table feel “unserved” and we were reminded multiple times “how slammed they are” while 4 of the 12-13 tables in the dining room were empty. And also the server correcting a colleague of mine the soup was not suppose to have chunks of meat we asked to see the menu again and the server dropped it off and walked away, only for us to see it is indeed suppose to contain meat. Receiving filet steaks and potatoes before soup.
When our food started to come out (although I realize it is a tapas style resturant) we received the food in a very unorthodox order. The manager said “so you wanted to change your reservation time…” We Ended up sitting down 20 minutes late from our reservation we had booked and and had to ask to receive water. Showed up early and was given grief about it.
